Tree Root-Infested Pipe Relined for Strata Client – Rose Bay
Our team recently completed a precision pipe relining project for a strata property in Rose Bay. The original terracotta pipe between the shower waste and floor waste had become compromised due to persistent tree root intrusion.
To prevent recurring blockages, we recommended and carried out a 2-metre reline of the existing pipe, along with a junction reline at the floor waste. The process involved:
- Conducting a detailed CCTV inspection to take exact measurements
- Preparing and installing a custom-cut pipe liner, coated with two-part epoxy resin
- Positioning the liner using a rubber bladder and CCTV guidance
- Curing the liner with steam for a strong, permanent seal
- Providing before and after CCTV footage to the owners committee for peace of mind
